Support Worker
Hi! I’m Ella — a support worker and a proud member of the CLM team. Over the past three years in this role, I’ve developed a wide range of skills, including community access support, personal care, and assistance with general household tasks. I’m passionate about support work because I genuinely enjoy helping others live their best lives and supporting them in achieving their goals.
I am also a proud and busy mum to a beautiful little boy. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, camping and fishing, cooking, spending quality time with friends and family, and taking relaxing walks along the beach.
Qualifications & Training
Current First Aid and CPR Certification
Professional Experience
3 years’ experience in disability support work across a range of disabilities and support needs
Experience supporting participants with varying levels of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial support requirements
Experience providing support to elderly participants
Areas of Support & Competency
Community access and participant transport
Effective time management skills
Professional, polite, and respectful manner
Clear and effective communication
Behaviour support experience, including managing challenging behaviours
Dementia support and management
Experience working with elderly participants in community and in-home settings
Compliance & Clearances
Current Blue Card
Current Yellow Card
National Police Check
Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
Open Australian Driver Licence
